My mom
In one month, my 89 years mom, with light dementia and limited mobility, will be moving into my house. This bachelor is prepared to accept the privilege of assisting her. I'm presently interviewing personal care companions. I'm also preparing the home physically: removed all thresholds, gating staircases, and ramping stairs. Next, since she's coming from out-of-town, I'll need to arrange physicians...a geriatric internist and a cardiologist (She has a pacemaker.). I'm open to reading about others' experiences about caring for their parents in their homes.
Thanks, Michael
